Bio

David Casademunt holds a degree in Directing from ESCAC (Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia). In 2022, he released his début feature film, The Wasteland, an original Netflix film produced by RodaryRodar and starring Inma Cuesta and Roberto Álamo. The film premièred in the Official Section at the Sitges Film Festival and was the most-watched non-English language film in the world for a week.

In 2024, he co-wrote and edited the documentary Stay Homas. La banda que no hauria d’existir, which premièred at the Málaga Film Festival. His short film Jingle Bells was selected for the 56th edition of the San Sebastián Film Festival. David currently has several projects in development.

Project

At Faberllull, he will be working on the script for the series Quatre assumptes pendents, co-written with Alicia Teba.
