Bio

Eva Pauné Martínez (1990) is a screenwriter and development producer. She studied Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University and specialised in Film Screenwriting at NYFA in Los Angeles. In 2019, she was selected for the Berlinale Talents programme. From 2013 to 2020, she was part of the Alhena Production team as a script analyst and producer,

working on films such as Killing God (2017) and Sense Sostre (2019). In 2018, she directed her first short film, La mala fe, with her sisters Marina and Elena Pauné. The short premièred at the Málaga Film Festival and was a candidate for the Gaudí Awards. Internationally, it was selected at festivals in Edinburgh, Tehran, Riga, Buenos Aires and Warsaw, among others. Her second short film, (SLASH) A Woman Bleeds, also directed with her sisters, premièred at the prestigious Class A ZINEBI festival in 2023.

Since 2020, Eva has devoted herself entirely to writing. Her first feature film as a screenwriter, Each of Us, co-written with Mirjam Ziegler, is in pre-production. The project, a European co-production directed by four renowned directors, has received support from the Creative Europe MEDIA programme and includes participation from TVE, TVC, ICAA and ICEC. It was developed at the acclaimed Sources2 workshop and selected for the Les Arcs Co-Production Village and Berlinale Talents Project Market.

Her second feature film as a co-writer, La Furia, directed by Gemma Blasco and produced by Ringo Media, is supported by ICAA, ICEC, Aragón TV, Televisión Española and TV de Catalunya. The project was selected for the Torino Film Lab and is currently awaiting release with Filmax. Eva is currently immersed in developing the miniseries ULTRA.
