Bio

Aleix Ramon is a composer and sound designer for video games with numerous credits. He also writes and delivers talks to artists on negotiating the price of their art with clients.

Born in El Vendrell, he began composing at a young age and toured as a guitarist and keyboardist with rock, jazz, pop and metal bands. Driven by his passion for video games, he soon studied Audiovisual Communication and Music Psychology to better understand the magical synergy between images and audio.

After years working on advertisements, short films and video mappings, he ultimately decided to focus on his true mission: audio for video games.

Aleix’s music has a strong melodic sense, inspired by classic video games, and he is known in the industry for blending retro video game sounds with any imaginable musical style.

Project

During his time at Faberllull, Aleix will be working on his book Pricing Game Audio, a guide for composers and sound designers on negotiating and pricing their art.

Based on his own experiences and the knowledge of artists from various fields, the project aims to help musicians and audio creatives earn a decent living from their talent.
