Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Belén Pasqualini is a singer/songwriter, actor and multifaceted creator born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She works in national and international theatre, music, television and audiovisual scenes. She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship (New York, US) and studied at the UNA in Buenos Aires, where she earned a degree in Performing Arts and studied with prestigious masters of acting, dramaturgy, singing, piano, musical language and dance.

She has worked in commercial theatre in Argentina and has done tours with over 500 shows all over the planet. As a musician, she has released three solo albums, two duo albums and one album with a jazz quintet. She has created an award-winning play that pays tribute to her scientist grandmother Christiane Dosne Pasqualini, a world-renowned leukaemia researcher. She is still acting, making music, writing scripts and creating in all sorts of ways; always curious, always full of life.

While at Faberllull, Belén Pasqualini will finish writing her screenplay based on the life of her grandmother Christiane Dosne Pasqualini, a leukaemia researcher who was born in 1920 and lived to be 102. It is a 100% independently produced script that she is currently working on with two Argentinian colleagues. The film will tell the story of Christiane’s life, also honouring hundreds of women in science who haven’t got the recognition they deserve. A biopic in the style of the film about Marie Curie, which will be a reference for the project.
