Bio
Literary translator since 2009, she translates from Danish, Dutch and English into Catalan and Spanish. She is the Catalan voice of Danish authors such as Karen Blixen, Tove Ditlevsen, Hans Christian Andersen, Solvej Balle, Helle Helle, Siri Ranva & Anne Cathrine Bomann.
Maria also translates comic and books for children and young adults, and texts for dubbing and subtitling for the Catalan TV company, aside from being a publisher's reader and scout for a number of publishing houses. Furthermore, she teaches at the Masters on translation at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and at a postgraduate course at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Project
She will assist in different work sessions on specific texts in the two directions from Catalan to Swedish and Danish and vice versa. She will also assist in informative talks on the literary landscape from the classics to the current narrative.
