Bio
Carles Ferrando Valero is Assistant Professor of Spanish Cultural Studies at Bowling Green State University (Ohio, USA). His research focuses on modern Iberian literature, visual culture, and intellectual history, and his scholarly interests include science and technology studies and the dialectics between politics, society, and cultural production. His articles have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies, Romance Quarterly, and Modernism/modernity
Project
During his stay at Faberllull, he will work on an scholarly article examining the role of affect in processes of construction and cultural representation of Catalan and Spanish national identities during the Hispano-Moroccan War.
