Ugnė Kavaliauskaitė pursued her professional education in Classical Piano at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts. After 15 years of playing with the piano, she took an interest in ballet and other dance styles such as contemporary and street dance. After her school years, Ugnė developed her physical capacity and technical abilities through ballet, modern dance and commercial jazz classes.

In 2017, she started her studies in Contemporary Dance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. During her studies, Ugnė created a few solo performances and in her final year, she started to work with well-known Lithuanian dancers, choreographers and performers. Ugnė was invited to join the AIROS Dance Theatre, founded by choreographer Aira Naginevičiūtė. In July of 2021, Ugnė graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre with the Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Dance and Pedagogy. Continuing her journey as a professional dancer and artist, she enrolled in a SPECIFIC athletic and artistic training program for contemporary dancers at the Compagnia Petrillo Danza in Tuscania, Italy. There, she refined her skills and became a dancer and interpreter for such companies as Twain - Centro Produzione Danza, Anonima Teatri and Compagnia Petrillo Danza.

Currently Ugnė is working at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre and teaching at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre as well as other organizations and venues.
