Bio

Leticia Muñoz, a graduate in Fine Arts and a teacher at the Higher School of Design in Palma, currently resides and works in Mallorca. As a multidisciplinary artist, she studied in different schools in France and Mexico, acquiring a wide range of plastic (sculpture, photography, video) and bodily languages (contemporary dance, theater, and performance). She participated in several international festivals such as the Water Tower Art Fest in Sofia, Bulgaria, the Video Dance Festival of Mallorca, Bang, and the International Video Art Festival of Barcelona. Art fairs include Art Athina and Platform Projects in Athens, and Supermarket in Stockholm. She collaborated with public institutions in Sofia, Latvia, Stockholm, Montreal, Canada, Georgia, and Lodz, Poland. Her exhibitions extend to museums in Mallorca, including Es Baluard, Casal Solleric, and the Miró Foundation.

Project

During her stay at Faberllull, she will focus on her performative work in collaboration with Rafel Bestard, engaging in on-site work that addresses the body, essay, and object. They will explore the intersection of these disciplines, creating an artistic experience that blends bodily expression, conceptual reflection, and the tangible presence of objects. Through this collaboration, they aim to transcend conventional boundaries of art, exploring new dimensions and creating a work that captivates and challenges the viewer. Their time at Faberllull will be an enriching opportunity to delve deeper into this artistic exploration.
