As an educator, he taught drawing at EASDIB and in secondary education for several years. Since his first solo exhibition in 1996 at the Mediterrània Gallery in Palma, he has regularly showcased his work in galleries, art fairs, museums, and art centers both nationally and internationally.
Project
During his residency at Faberllull, he will focus on his pictorial work in collaboration with Leticia Muñoz while completing his Master's thesis. In this project, he will delve into the phenomenological description of the process of drawing/painting from my perspective as an artist. He'll explore the connection between Betty Edwards' drawing method and the noesis-noema correlation of the phenomenological method. Additionally, Bestard aim to investigate the intersections between the practice of realistic drawing and painting and the fundamental aspects of the phenomenological approach.
