Bio

Prisca Villa is a director and actor/creator. She trained as an actress and director in Barcelona, where she worked with several theatre companies before deciding to co-create the Kamchàtka company.

Villa has specialised in creating for public spaces. In addition to Kamchàtka, she also founded her own company, L’equipe NCNC, where she has created more than 10 site-specific projects with community participation.

Project

At Faberllull, Prisca Villa will be accompanied by Lluís Petit to develop the project El gran format dels anys 20, winner of the Hivernem 2024 programme. The proposal includes a research process on large-format performance and mass displacement, combined with the theme of migrations and their cyclical nature. Through history, activism and technology, their research aims to delve deeper into the historical context of population movement and the methodologies for creating a large-format performance for the public space.
