Bio

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication at the International University of Catalonia, with full vocation for screenwriting and directing. After his first short pieces: Quan les mares dormen and Una casa de silencio—both in post-production—and experimenting with the material of two years of filming by his brother, the seasons and the landscapes of La Segarra, he approaches to a way of making films where memory, remembrance, nature and the environment are the protagonists of their stories. Rooting in a naturalistic theme where portraiture and fiction play a key role in his work, he enters the writing process of what will be his new script for his first feature film.

Ten-year-old Emut lives with his mother and grandmother. The mother works long hours a day to be able to support her child and it is the grandmother who has to take care of him most of the time. With a complicated family situation, the father's absence and Carme's grief after a traumatic divorce, Emut's routine is limited to filling the corners of a house that seems to feel further and further away.
