Bio

Graduated from the ESCAC, in 2001 she shot together with Marc Riba as a final project Black is the color of the gods which became the first short stop motion animation made by the two and which marked the the beginning of a collaboration that is now more than 20 years old. Together they have written and directed sixteen short films. His projects have participated in more than two thousand festivals on five continents, collecting more than a hundred awards, among which a nomination for the Goya Awards, the Mélies d'Argent for Best European Short Film and a Gaudí Award must be highlighted.

Project

HABITAT. 10 peculiar characters inhabit a building from which they have decided not to leave, creating a microcosm that is maintained by completely absurd and surreal internal mechanisms. Until one day a piece of the gear that maintains harmony fails and this microcosm becomes uninhabitable. Habitat is a bloody satire, sometimes a little unpleasant, about the fragile balances that sustain our society.

Both of my stays at Faberllull have been very enriching. The first time I was there was very early on in the writing process and the Screenplay residency was the perfect place for a first contact among the residents and a place to rethink and reassess the initial ideas, together. The break from routine that comes with working outside the space we were so used to and the sensation of getting away from it all really help you concentrate and focus. My second stay, after having worked on the project for several months, having forged a relationship with my colleagues and being deeply familiar with the various Faberllull spaces, allowed me to really grow the project. I left with the feeling that I had really dug into my writing and that the location had been a great ally to get the best out of all of us.
