Bio

Author, producer and coach who has developed her own pitching method, which she teaches in her workshops on pitching, storytelling and audiovisual management. Her innovative methodology has made her one of the leading pitch coaches in the audiovisual sector today. She co-created and co-directed the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Valencia Pitch Forums.

She studied in Los Angeles under the guidance of masters such as Michael Hauge, Ken Rotcop, Linda Seger, Robert McKee, Chris Abbott and Peter Guber, and has spent much of her career in the heart of American Hollywood. There she has had the opportunity to work under directors such as Ron Howard, Cameron Crowe, Bryan Singer, the Coen Brothers and James Cameron and for studios such as Fox, Universal, Paramount and Warner Bros.

In recent years, Marian has split her time between her role as an author and screenwriter and her role as a coach and teacher. She has worked with Fox Latin American Channels, Disney, Kapow, 100 Bars, Warner, Kuarzo, Discovery, Kenya and Sony among others. She has brought her teaching method to institutions such as GAC, DAMA, ÀNIMA, the Vigo Film Commission, LLAURES, UNSAL, UNTREF Mitjana, UnLam and UBA in Argentina, as well as Finestra Sud and Good Pitch in Argentina, in collaboration with BritDoc and Sundance.

In terms of festivals, she has given workshops in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Vigo, Espinho and Porto, at festivals in the UK, including Women in Film & TV, FEST and New Directors, and at Fantasporto (Portugal) and BIFF (Brussels).

She has been collaborating with Serielizados Kick since its first edition in 2022.

Project

During my stay at Faberllull Olot I will be teaching a pitching workshop for audiovisual projects.
