Bio

Barcelona, 1996. She has been a student of the Audiovisual Communication degree at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where her final degree project (TFG) was preselected as one of the best gender perspective in 2018. During her university years, she participated in the development of 'Negre de Merda', a documentary that won the award for Best Musical Documentary Short Film at the In-Edit Festival and the Audience Award in 2018, as well as at the VOC festival in 2020. The year following her studies, she wanted to specialize in scriptwriting and took the year-long film script course at the Showrunners school in Barcelona, where she created the feature film 'Ropa de verano', which was selected as one of the finalists in the Calella Film Festival. In the past year, she participated in the TV series scriptwriting course at the same Showrunners school in Barcelona, where she developed the series 'Contacto 0' as her final course project, and its pilot episode has been selected as one of the Top 10 best pilots in the 2023 Pilots TV competition by the FilmarketHub platform. Finally, she has recently collaborated in the development of an animation series called ‘la Orquestita', produced by MagoProductions.

Project

During my stay at Faber, I will continue working on 'Contacto 0', a six-episode dramedy of twenty minutes each that follows Nina, a twenty-four-year-old dependent and impulsive girl who seeks to get back together with her ex-boyfriend by following five steps outlined by a love guru YouTuber. Each episode of the series focuses on one of the different steps she must follow to achieve her goal. However, with each step Nina takes, she unintentionally unravels the tenets of romantic love and transcends her past relationship, while her ex-boyfriend reacts as predicted by the YouTuber.
Currently, I need to work much more on the plot map, delve into each of the themes and toxic relationships to ensure the message is understood clearly. I also need to delve deeper into the characters and their objectives in order to create plausible arcs. During my time at Faber, I will rewrite the pilot script and work on the script for the second episode.
