families at concession stands during sporting events. Through those efforts, the district created a new STEAM course for every student and Katie won 4 national and state STEM leadership awards. Since then, Katie has been invited to join state, federal, and international STEM policy and diplomatic efforts. Katie has worked as the Director of Learning for BirdBrain technologies and now works at the Micro:bit Educational Foundation as the head of partnerships in North America.

We will meet in Faberllull Olot a passionate group of teachers, designers and creators of educational tools from around the world to promote these creative learnings in educational programming and robotics. Many of us already share projects during the year, from distant locations, enjoying the technologies that allow us to work remotely and asynchronously, but the personal and intensive meeting that Faberllull Olot offers us is an invaluable gift.
