Gerard Corbella has a degree in history, a post-graduate degree in audiovisual anthropology, and a PhD student in the Information Society and Knowledge program at the UOC. He has focused a large part of his professional career on the online dissemination of cultural heritage and historical memory, and in his thesis he studies how artificial intelligence applied to human rights archives can affect the public reparation of victims. He currently runs the company La Foneria (, focused on the dissemination of cultural and memorial heritage online.

During the thematic stay in April 2023 at FaberLlull, I would like to compare the progress in my research with other researchers, who can surely bring different views to the actual approach of my thesis, just at the moment when it is necessary to write and conclude . This period of time should therefore serve to revise and begin to close the AI section of the thesis.
