Bio

Eloi Puertas i Prats is a doctor in Computer Science and professor permanent of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Barcelona. His main lines of research have to do with artificial intelligence and data science. He has taught undergraduate and master's courses in engineering software, robotics, databases and distributed systems among others.

Project

During the stay at the Faber residence, we will work together with other researchers, records managers and IT professionals to identify methodologies applicable to different tasks in archives that could be automated using artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. Our main goal is to identify and understand the metholdologies and elaborate several resources that helps to find out what prior requirements the archive services should have before contracting and AI development.
