Bio
Pedagogue, teacher and international education project’s designer and manager. She has received her B.S from Valle University in Colombia and M.D from Madrid University in Spain. She has worked in non formal education as an experimental teacher since 1991 and as a project’s manager in education programs and intercultural transnational education programs since 1996. She has designed and unfolded programs targeted to learners at risk of social exclusion and marginalization. Her devotion to education’s activity has lead her to dig in the field of education innovation by using digital tools and new methodologies within the process of learning that encompasses students, teachers and school community likewise. Lately She has participated in the “International Conference on Learnig” held in Valencia (Spain) in 2020 and 2021. She is now working on a new project entitled “Art in Education turn” whether the process of creation that is the core of Fine Arts expression, takes top relevance in the process of education evenly. She is highly interested in literature, music, writing and reading and yoga as a living motto that enriches life’s human experience and work.
Project
The objective during the residency is, from an educational action such as a conference, video, live theater, poetry, etc., to turn it into a visual art expression as a form of communication in the learning process creative.
During our stay at the residency we had the opportunity to enjoy our work and developped our planned activities. We felt fulfilled because we have accomplished our tasks. By the occasion we met a group of residents who were working on theatre and its relationship to education and research. Eventually we had been invited to attend one of their working sessions whether we partook and enjoyed mutually. We had the opportunity to talk broadly at our meals likewise.. It was a nice experience to meet them, to exchange new insights on education, research and experiences on drama and to get their contacts. The atmosphere was of really comradeship though.
The environment that surrounded the residency was fit and of uplifting work and reflection on several items for new ideas on further projects. The surroundings of the residency were apt to walk, ride bikes or climb hills. The beautiful towns around that we visited were also of top interest for their well known cultural heritage.
In short it has been a nice and smoothly going e xperience during the time of our stay in both work and leisure. Thanks to all.
