JOAQUIN GEORGE
From Monday, 14 November 2022 to Thursday, 24 November 2022
Bio
Poet, writer of non-fiction. He wrote a poetry book named "Brújula Negra" (Espacio Hudson, 2021) and an essay about the cultural history of a utopian library that existed in Rosario, Argentina, from 1957 to 1977. He has a B.A. and an M.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in Political Science. He has worked in a community library, in a foundation that promoted the research and study of the Spanish language and culture in Argentina and in an agricultural technology institute where he is currently working on issues related to science and technology public management. He thinks that his poetry is a bark boat that slowly and persistently navigates through all those fragments of reality. He was born in 1989 in Casilda, province of Santa Fe, Argentina.
Project
During my stay at Faberllull Olot, I will continue working on my second book of poems named "Naranjas"; characterized by a more intimate, less erudite and more nostalgic writing in comparison with my previous book.
