Bio

With a degree in Social Work, a degree in Dramatic Art and a Master's in Cultural Management, Jéssica Martínez has trained with companies and professionals from different fields, including Roland Schimmelpfennig, Paco Zarzoso, Esteve Soler, Edgar Chías, Christian Drut, Xavier Puchades and El Pont Flotant. She has written and premiered "Julia Arévalo: mujer de bronce y miel" (2017, Valladolid), "Lapland", within the II edition of the Ínsula Dramataria Josep Lluís Sirera Dramaturgy Laboratory of the Institut Valencià de Cultura (2019, Valencia), and "La tormenta de nieve", an adaptation of the original by Tolstoi together with R. Schimmelpfennig. He has published different opinion articles and the long piece "Ahí va ella" (2019). Currently, she is manager of the association of Valencian performing arts Comitè Escèniques and co-directs the project Creador-es Residencias Teatrales.
