Bio

Lab Manager at Coboi lab, a local policy lab at Sant Boi de Llobregat, and collaborator at Dimmons (Open University of Catalonia), a research team focused on promoting socio-economic innovation for a common society. His research framework includes: new collaborative ecosystems, innovation labs promoted by the Public Administration and new interfaces between policy makers /knowledge and decision makers. Frías has been lecturing at different universities as Istituto Europeo di Design- IED or Tecnocampus-UPF, and also at School of Public Administration of Catalonia (EAPC), teaching about cultural change, creativity and innovation.

Project

During my residence I'll try to finish the book that I have been cooking for over a year. It's a book where it's going to explain from a first-person perspective my experience as director of a local social innovation laboratory (Coboi lab), in its different stages, over a period of two electoral terms. It will be the first publication to be written from first person perspective, and I am very excited to be able to conclude it or, at least, make a great step forward to the final edition during this residence. I hope that this book will be reasonably relevant in the sector or, at least, interesting for professionals in the field and curious.
