Bio

PhD. in Sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He currently works at the UPC School. He was a member of Gedime (Immigration and Ethnic Minorities Study Group) a research group attached to the Department of Sociology at the UAB. He was a visiting researcher at the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Brighton. He was also a member of the PhD. student forum of Barcelona Centre For International Affairs (CIDOB)

Project

I belong to a team of researchers working on the project “La langue des oiseaux”. During the stay, we will work on a research study on the Obstacles and Opportunities for Migrants and Refugees’ Artistic Development in Europe. We will present a tentative analysis of the evidence collected during the international workshops on performing arts made so far and conduct interviews and focus groups with the artists and trainees of these workshops to delve deeper into their perspectives. We will also work on the drawing up and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools for the whole project in terms of scientific usefulness.
