Bio

Laura Corominas Espelt (1999) graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She is currently responsible for communications and marketing at the APDPB Foundation, meanwhile she is studying the official master’s degree in Theatre Studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Institut del Teatre.

She has worked as an assistant in audiovisual production and editing at ESMUC, as well as a script and research assistant at the production company Goroka. She has also participated in several writing courses and workshops at Laboratori de Lletres, Ateneu Barcelonès and Sala Beckett.

Project

“La nit no fa vigília” is a feature film that follows the life of Bruno, an 18-year-old boy who has lived with his grandmother Nati (83) all his life. Currently, Nati has become a dependent person and Bruno has to take care of her. During my stay at the Faberllull residence, I hope to grow the project with the help of the multiple activities and the relationships that can be established with the rest of the participants, as well as the mentoring of experts who can enrich and guide the creation process.
