Bio

Ariadna Ulldemolins Abad (1999) graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She has been an assistant in the Department of Communication of the production company Minoria Absoluta. She has written and directed the short film "Last Day of Summer", an official selection of the FEST New Directors in Portugal (in the Flavors of the World section), and the U22 Festival in Barcelona. She has also directed "Podíkia", an audiovisual dance piece presented at the 2020 Talent Week organized by the Clúster Audiovisual de Catalunya. Moreover, she has participated in other projects as an assistant director and as an art director and has carried out several creative writing courses at the Escola Ateneu Barcelonès or La Gralla Llibreria.

Project

“La nit no fa vigília” is a feature film that follows the life of Bruno, an 18-year-old boy who has lived with his grandmother Nati (83) all his life. Currently, Nati has become a dependent person and Bruno has to take care of her. During my stay at the Faberllull residence, I hope to grow the project with the help of the multiple activities and the relationships that can be established with the rest of the participants, as well as the mentoring of experts who can enrich and guide the creation process.
