Bio

She is a photographer, artist and yoga instructor. She understands art as a path to self-knowledge and personal growth. Breathing, contemplation and full consciousness are the basis of her artistic creations. She creates from the escort of the body and emotions. Art has helped her to let go of self-demand. She has learned to enjoy and flow, without being aware of the result. Just BEING.

Currently, she is finishing her training in Transpersonal Therapy with art, which gives her the tools to create and guide other people to have a healthier relationship with art and to discover themselves.

Lover of nature and especially landscape photography from contemplation to go beyond what the eyes see.

Project

During my stay at Faber I will be creating a self-portrait course for teenagers, in which there will be the technical part to get the basics of photography and the other part of self-knowledge and personal growth.

I want this course to be a space for young people to discover themselves, to accept themselves, to have a better relationship with their image.

I want to create a safe space for them to express themselves freely, to become aware of how they feel at any given moment. There will be a lot of contemplation, of them and what they believe in.

Time is running out in Faberllull Olot When I land at the Hotel Riu, where the Faber Olot residence is, I am fascinated, that hall ... A marvel to photograph! I met Pepa and Gavina, who gave me a warm welcome. After a first tour of the hotel, we went with Elena, the other individual resident who came from Andorra, for a tour of the town of Olot! In the afternoon, I started working on creating a self-portrait course for teenagers. And at the last minute before dinner I was able to enjoy some yoga in the garden. The next day I went back to work, in the room with a view of a wonderful landscape. The ideas came to me one after the other, even other very interesting ideas for other projects and it was inevitable to write it all down in the notebook. It looked like the magic chair that took you to inspiration and in full creative flow. The environment, the tranquility, made me immerse myself in what I was working on and even though the week has flown by, the days have expanded. I had time to do everything, the time it took me to get the most out of it and I was totally focused; I also had time to relax, to socialize, to visit the village. We were lucky enough to coincide with the Seismograph Festival, and we enjoyed some of the performances they did in Olot. It was great to be able to unwind immersed in the scenery around the hotel. It was great to be able to share the residency with other artists from different disciplines and at the same time discover what we had in common and how we can inspire each other. During the residency, I started my project, I realized that it was more complex than I expected, that I have a lot of ideas in my head and putting order and knowing how to convey it is a long process. It has been very helpful for me to be able to focus only on this without having to think about other things that day to day does not allow so much. I am so grateful for the opportunity and experience they have given me to live at Faber. Of course I stay with the people I have met, the other residents, the hotel staff and the team I have met from Faber, Pepa and Gavina. Thank you for giving me this experience and for making my project so magical!
