Bio

Born in Alaior (Menorca), Ariadna Fortuny has participated as co-writer and co-director of the fiction feature film Un sol radiant, a film starring Laia Artigas (Estiu 1993) and Núria Prims (Incerta Glòria), which is in post-production. She has also co-directed the fiction short film Els esvaïts, which has been selected in various national and international festivals. She has worked as a co-writer of a feature film produced by Mr. Miyagi Films, which is in the development phase, and has participated as a scriptwriting and editing assistant at Lastor Media, in the new films by filmmakers Carlos Marqués-Marcet and Elena Martín.

If we talk about her academic training, she graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University and is currently studying the Advanced Course in Cinematography at ECIB.

Project

At Faber Llull I will be part of the team of the Connecta Residence. Along with seven other young filmmakers, I will receive daily masterclasses around various aspects of filmmaking and I will elaborate a short film project. With the help of industry professionals, we will review all the phases of creating a short film, while laying the foundations for the new project, so that we can finish the residency with a strong approach.
