Bio

Ada Vilaró is a director, performer and a unique multidisciplinary artist. She created and directs Escena Poblenou Contemporary creation festival and Festival Itineràncies.

After a few years working in the public space, often generating stage events to give voice to silenced groups, with 360 grams she returns to the interior stage space. We highlight works such as Pas per la Pau (Fira Mediterrània, 2018) or UrGentestimar (opening of Fira Tàrrega, 2017). Públic Present 24 hores, a long-lasting intervention in which the artist remained in silence for 24 hours in the public space.

In 2015 she received the Barcelona Medal of Honour as director of the Escena Poblenou Contemporary Creation Festival and with this same project in 2014 the FAD Sebastià Gasch awards for the paratheatrical arts.

Project

The project presented by Ada Vilaró is based on an investigation between science and art on global warming and climate change to promote social awareness of how we relate to and are involved in these changes.

The aim is to generate a participatory artistic proposal in the public space, of community art, of social impact to raise awareness and transform the global warming of the planet, promoting care cultures.
