Bio

Celia Castellano is member of the journalism action collective, SomAtents, of Barcelona as a journalist and Community Content Manager. She is a regular contributor to La Directa and Diagonal newspapers. Also, she has published in El Periódico de Catalunya, La Marea and Mostra Internacional de Cinema Educatiu (MiCe). Her work is focused on social and migrant conflicts, gender issues and education. Currently, she works on projects about conflicts of ethnic minories in Eastern Europe.

She graduated in journalism and has a master’s degree of Contemporanean History, from Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Project

At Faber, I’ll work on a news article on the life of three young people with diverse social problems that find in boxing an exit to their situation.
