Bio

As Ta-Nehishi Coates said, I see the craft of writing as the art of thinking, and journalism as a powerful tool of exploration. My coverage of American politics, far-right extremism in Scandinavia and the refugee crisis, amongst other topics, have appeared in La Vanguardia, El Periódico and Ara. I also have four years experience working for the regional newspaper Regió7, both in the newsroom and as a freelance reporter. As a press officer, I have volunteered at the Vicente Ferrer Foundation in India and I am currently doing a Robert Schuman traineeship in the European Parliament. I like to write about civil rights, immigration and any topic that mirrors inequalities.

Project

My aim during my stay at Faber residency is to deepen my involvement in SomAtents. At a time when our project is moving forward and being increasingly fruitful, this residency provides us with the opportunity of taking a deep breath, coming together and discussing what have we done so far, what is our current situation and where do we want to go from now on. On a personal level, there are several stories I have wanted to write for a long time, but could not find the right scope –I can’t think of a better place to rethink them than a house full of creative people.
