CHARLES FOUGERON
From Wednesday, 21 February 2018 to Friday, 2 March 2018
Bio
He studied Computer Science and Mathematics at ENS in Paris and continued with a PhD with Anton Zorich, related to dynamical systems, translation surfaces and Lyapunov exponents. He is now doing a postdoc in Moscow and his current research interest focus on computation of Lyapunov exponents via computer experiments for different settings, as well as flat geometry and their moduli spaces.
Project
My main project is to push further an observation I made during my PhD using computer experiments. Investigating some dynamical properties of different systems, some properties on subgroups appeared. During the sage days, we would like to advance on this project with N. Howell, and share experience with the other participants.
