His first contact with electronics began when he was very young when he opened a cassette to see what there was inside and what he saw pleased him, so he dedicated his entire student life to becoming an electronic engineer, and he got an “A” in his final project. He has been working in teaching since 1984. Educational robotics: its first steps began in 2009 with a visit to Malakabot, where it quickly saw the great possibilities this had and immediately introduced it as transversal content in the subjects it taught. With a highly motivated student group, they began their participation in micro robotics competitions (Madrid-Bot, Malakabot, Robolot, dbSariak and Robolid) and in projects (ARCE Project: “Learning Electronics through Robotics”, Guadalbot Project: “We learn Electronics using robotics”, PLUMA Project: Universal Microcontrolled Platform). Educational and industrial applications, Gutenberg3D Project. 3D design and printing. Creator of the first free 3D printer in Granada with a Prusa i2 under the umbrella of ClonWars. He currently volunteers with ENABLING THE FUTURE. A Global Network Of Passionate Volunteers Using 3D Printing To Give The World A “Helping Hand”. Member of the Robolot Team. He is currently studying English and learning to manage FPGAs through her participation in FPGAWars.

Project

GranaBot is a micro robotics fair-competition organized by teachers who teach the CFGS Electronic Maintenance at the IES Virgen de las Nieves. GranaBot aims to be a meeting place where students of any educational level and fans can not only compete with their prototypes but also share their knowledge.

The main objectives are:

-To hold the OPEN competitions, which are already traditional

-Organize conferences related to current technological issues.

-Extend these competitions to the primary and secondary compulsory education stages.

-To promote new technologies among young students in an eminently practical activity.

-To strengthen the relationship between different institutions.

-To strengthen the relationship between Centre and Company.

-To foster skills and attitudes of discipline, leadership and teamwork.

-Encourage the use of new technologies.

-Promoting the learning of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM)

It is held in an OPEN modality, so any amateur or amateur robotics can participate.
