Bio
Graduated from ESCAC in 2012. He has directed the documentary and musical experiment “Famèlic Sessions” presented at the Festival D’A 2016. The short film GANG (2019) about the dynamics of the male group and its impunity, selected at the Malaga film festival, the D’A Film Festival and also candidate for the Gaudí Awards in 2020.
He has developed the documentary short film “Ciudad de Granada 147-149” (2020) and the feature documentary “The Settlement”, following the daily life of Abo Dya, a Palestinian worker at a Spanish archaeological site in northern Jordan. The documentary is in an advanced post-production phase and is supported by Al Jazeera.
He is also the composer of the soundtrack of “El camí més llarg per tornar a casa”, winner of the Gaudí for best Catalan film in 2016.
Project
My goal with this residency is to find a space to advance in the development of the film script for the feature film based on "Fuga". The short film I directed last summer, in full confinement, with my cousin, the actor Enric Auquer. The project, located in rural Catalonia, seeks to delve into the family universe we share.
