Bio

Javier Peñafiel (Saragossa 1964) has worked on long-term projects such as “egolactante” (1997-2007), agencia de intervención en la sentimentalidad (1997-2001) Nueva York, Lisboa, or the more recent Latido antecedente (2009-2013) Valparaiso-Berlin. Since 2013 he has been developing a hybrid of conference and theatre that he calls “confedramas”.

He has written, produced and edited among others: Escritorio, Mera coincidencia, Os acasos convenientes, Agenda de caducidad de los tiempos drásticos, Locución Merkel Bachelet, Será natación nuestra astrofísica, projects of an expanded nature among exhibition exhibitions, performativity and publications, which he has carried out in Lisbon, Sao Paulo, Berlin, Valparaíso, Buenos Aires…

His books and publications include Conquista básica, te vuelvo a pedir que te definas; CRU006, No todo tanto, Fine Arts Unternehmen, Mera coincidencia, CGAC, o el más reciente Teatro dentífrico 2017, Artslibris.

Project

The project to be carried out at Faber consists of the completion of a new book. It is a compilation of all the texts of the dramatic conferences between 2015 and 2018 and the parallel edition of groups of drawings, their bio scene, which I am doing a posteriori.
