Bio
She has trained at the Centre d’Études theatralis de Louvain la Neuve in Belgium, at the Institute of Theatre and at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett and has a degree in Humanities from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Her works have been translated into several languages and have premiered in Greece, Croatia, Buenos Aires and New York, among others. Les nenes no haurien de jugar a futbol (Girls shouldn’t play football) and Litus have been made into a cinematographic version. She has received several awards, including the Joaquim Bartina 2015 Prize, the XXXV Ciutat d’Alcoi Theatre Prize, the XI Palanca i Roca Theatre Prize and the Max Prize for best authorship in Catalan.
Project
In the Faber I will work my next work, a piece that somehow continues the thematic field that already explore Playoff: la dona i l’esport (Playoff: women and sport). It is a choral work that once again has female protagonists. The work will be premiered next season.
