Bio
She has trained as a playwright at Centre d’Études Théâtrales de Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and at Obrador of Sala Beckett.
She is the author of more than 15 plays. Plastilina (XXXV Ciutat d’Alcoi Theatre Prize, second place in the Marqués de Bradomín Prize 2007 and runner-up for the Max Prizes 2010; Sala Beckett, 2009), Les nenes no haurien de jugar a futbol (Festival Grec and Versus Teatre, 2010; with productions in Croatia, Mexico, Cyprus and Greece), Litus (SALAFlyhard/Teatre Lliurem, cervantes theatre 2017) and Losers (La Villarroel, 2014, Teatro Bellas Artes 2015). She has won the award XI PREMI PALANCA I ROCA for her last play: A normal family.
She was part of ADA project with the playwrights Neil Labute and Marco Calvani with the play POWER-POTERE-PODER. Performed at La Mama Theatre (off Broadway) on January 2017.
Project
In the Faber Residence she wants to finish writing her latest play titled Playoff. The play is about a group of girls who play football in their neighborhood’s life team. The work explores female identity and talks about how young people of 21st century see life. This tragicomedy will be premiered at Conde Duque Theater represented by La Joven Companyia in February 2018.
