Project
During my residency I will work on my new novel. It is a fiction story about how serious illness takes its toll on a person and their family both from an emotional and medical point of view. Writing such a novel will involve substantial research and many interviews, because I need to have a deep, first-hand understanding of this topic in order to create a story that rings true. All my articles and novels have typically required a lot of journalistic research. Now I am also interested in the reverse approach and would like to immerse myself into narrative journalism.
