La vida de Neus Català (Amsterdam, 2012), which has had thirteen editions published in different formats, sold more than 20,000 units and has been the subject of one theatrical adaptation. Her latest work is El camí de les Aigües (Amsterdam, 2017).

During my residency I will work on my new novel. It is a fiction story about how serious illness takes its toll on a person and their family both from an emotional and medical point of view.  Writing such a novel will involve substantial research and many interviews, because I need to have a deep, first-hand understanding of this topic in order to create a story that rings true. All my articles and novels have typically required a lot of journalistic research. Now I am also interested in the reverse approach and would like to immerse myself into narrative journalism.
