Bio

Graduate in Journalism (UAB), postgraduate in Photojournalism (UAB) and with training in documentary and author photography. She has worked as a photojournalist in the media such as El País and Tot Sant Cugat, and her photographs are also published in Mondosonoro and Jornada. She is part of the team of CFD Barcelona (Centre de Fotografia Documental) and is a working member of SomAtents journalistic action collective, where she works as a graphic editor, photographer and teacher. She is currently focusing on documentary and author photography and the development of personal projects.

Project

With a visual tour of the work of classic and contemporary photographers and group discussions, together with Claudia Frontino we propose to reflect on the important role of women photographers. Often invisible, women are an essential agent in the history of photography and we want to awaken interest in the legacy we are leaving behind, which has often been denied us. The talk includes the viewing of photographic works, debate on the current state of the sector and a review of the history of women in this profession.
