Agricultural Engineer, University of Valladolid. Expert in NGO Management and Leadership and Social Innovation by ESADE Business School.

Director of the NGO Cives Mundi for 18 years. He has worked in development cooperation in more than 22 countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Since 2011 he coordinates the project El Hueco for the promotion of social entrepreneurship and social innovation in Spain. He is the promoter and founder of several social enterprises, among which Huertos de Soria S.L. stands out.

He directs Presura, the National Fair for the repopulation of empty Spain.

Project

I am currently working on the implementation of a project for the co-creation of a new rurality (www.nuevaruralidad.es) in sparsely populated areas of Spain, within the framework of El Hueco (www.elhueco.org), a programme for the promotion of social entrepreneurship and social innovation as an engine of sustainable rural development. I also coordinate Presura Feria Nacional para la Repoblación Rural (www.repoblacion.es).
