VÍCTOR CASADO
From Friday, 10 May 2019 to Sunday, 12 May 2019
Bio
Víctor Casado studied Telecommunication Engineering, specializing in Telematics. For 10 years, he has been part of the Edutec team at Citilab, where he has been working as a developer and trainer in projects aimed at teaching programming, electronics and robotics in the educational field.
Currently, he participates in the Edulab project, which aims to encourage the teaching of programming and robotics as a transversal language to understand and relate to technology and develop critical and creative thinking in schools in the city of Cornellà de Llobregat.
Project
Like my colleagues at Citilab, my stay at Faber will give me the opportunity to meet other teaching professionals and at the same time users of block-based programming environments (Scratch, Snap!, microBlocks, etc.) with whom contact and exchange experiences.
In addition, given that there will be the developers of the programming environment microBlocks, we will use to bring ideas and resolve doubts with them, as the new electronic board we have created at Citilab is programmed through this environment. I hope our stay in the Faber community will allow us to improve innovation in teaching and learning processes.
