Open call for individual stays

The call has opened for professionals from the fields of the arts, sciences and humanities anywhere in the world to submit applications to stay at Faber Andorra in 2027.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Faber Andorra is an individual and interdisciplinary residence located in La Massana, in a glorious natural setting where a person can concentrate and disconnect from their daily routine to dedicate themselves exclusively to working on a project. A fully equipped apartment with a work area, a 30-square metre visual and performing arts workshop is available in case work is necessary and an allowance of 60 euros per day to cover meal expenses. Faber Andorra does not cover travel expenses nor the mandatory medical insurance.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Any professional who has a project and needs a space and productive working time to develop it.

Professionals from the visual and audiovisual arts, crafts, photography, dramaturgy, performing arts, cinema, history, curating, criticism, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, journalism, science, research, biology, ecology, economics, law, writing, translation and all types of professionals from the fields of the arts, sciences and humanities are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

• The duration of the stays must be between two and six weeks. Stays are offered between the months of February and November.
• Candidates must propose at least two activities (one of which must be aimed at school and/or university students) to be carried out during the days of the stay. It is an essential condition to carry out at least one activity.

Selection criteria:

• Nature of the project to be developed: projects related to Andorra are prioritised.
• Type of proposed activities: priority is given to the most attractive for the Andorran community.
• Diversity of backgrounds and areas of work.
• Residents who have stayed at Faberllull Olot and Faber Andorra can apply, but new candidacies are given preference.

• Cover letter (1 page)
• Proposal of two possible activities (2 pages)

*All documentation can be presented in Catalan, Spanish, English or French.
