Léxico, understanding in the unknown. An international collaboration between dance artists who speak different languages to create a new performance together.

Using a mixture of literal and figurative ideas of Lost or Found – between languages and across cultures, through movement transmission, analog versus digital reproduction, language translation; objects, people, relationships, feelings, memories. We use this idea as the means to create; transformation and translation of language and movement; the act of searching for understanding and creating new perspectives.

Inspired by meeting each other in the Faber dance residency in 2017, where some of the residents of this current dance residence knew each other, they are thrilled to be returning to work on this exciting new project.
