Bio

pantea’s artistic practice integrates creative writing, audiovisual design, performance, film, photography, and radio art. She co-directs the Association So in collaboration with Soundcamp Cooperative and coordinates Khamoosh, a transdisciplinary community dedicated to preserving and archiving Iranian sound heritage. She is a member of the Radio Web MACBA working group, and the audiovisual design collective Studio Informal. Her research is particularly interested in socially engaged practices and community-based work, exploring the possibilities of listening as a tool for creation and relationship-building. She has presented and exhibited her work internationally.

Project

At Faber Andorra, she will explore the Valira River through various practices of sound walking and live sound broadcasting.

This work, based on collective listening and the creation of radio content, aims to raise awareness of the importance of respect for and protection of the environment. The project is developed within the framework of the recently established Association So, based in Catalunya but with a clear international dimension, and will enable the development of creative and technical workshops focused on field broadcasting and ecological radio.
