Project

During the residency, Toni Jodar and Beatriu Daniel will work on the commission the Sismògraf Festival awarded Explica Dansa to craft activities for Sant Jordi's Day at the Marià Vayreda Library in Olot: Sant Jordi dances / Dance and books at the Sismògraf.

On the one hand, the Sismògraf audience will discover the library through Toni Jodar, who will illustrate the most special readings and shelves with his body and words. Also, on Sant Jordi's day, a bookshelf dedicated to dance will be inaugurated, accompanied by dancers, choreographers, dance theorists and cultural journalists.

At Faberllull, the pair will focus on developing the script and choreography by Toni Jodar within the library space and work with the Sismògraf team on the format of the celebration/inauguration of the Sismògraf Dance shelf at the library.
