Collective residencies / Creation and context: live arts within a landscape / Olot
YAELLE ANTOINE
From Monday, 9 March 2026 to Sunday, 15 March 2026
Bio
Yaëlle Antoine trained at the Annie Fratellini circus school and at L'Esactolido in tightrope walking and contortion. Following an injury, she left her career as an acrobat behind and put her years of experience in the ring to good use as a director and teacher. She experiments with circus writing inspired by the circus and the spoken word. She co-founded Les Tenaces, a collective of women fighting against sexism and for gender equality in street arts and the circus. Year after year, Yaëlle Antoine, keen to find spaces that correspond to her dramaturgy, has been investing in urban and outdoor spaces. For her, investing in public space remains a privileged artistic means of giving concrete expression to her social and political concerns through mediation and artistic acts. Playing with formats, spaces and aesthetics, she displays a taste for hybridisation. Yaëlle Antoine is part of the teaching team at Esactolido and is involved in numerous training courses. She is accredited by the region and the Drac Occitanie.
Project
As part of her research on matrilineal heritage, these forgotten stories, these lineages deemed unworthy or shameful, Yaëlle Antoine would like to explore the volcanic territory of Olot to unearth stories and legacies that are both earthy and feminist!
A moment to daydream, to let your mind wander over the blue-tinged crest of a volcano. Spaces become words, words become bodies. That is what Faberlull is: a rare, precious moment when we cast aside all efficiency, all pressure, to immerse ourselves in the wildness of creation, the weaving of images.
Thank you, Pepa, thank you, Andreu
