Bio

Eric Marcet (2001) is a screenwriter and director. He studied Audiovisual Project and Live Performance Production in 2022 and completed his training as a broadcast technician at Teledeporte (RTVE), later specializing in series screenwriting at Showrunners Barcelona.

He has developed several experimental short films and multiple fiction projects centered on identity, family, and folklore, themes that converge in his latest series La Fe, a family drama that uses magical realism to explore spirituality and inherited generational wounds.

Between 2022 and 2024, he wrote and directed Transversal (30’), a socially engaged short film about LGBTQ+ collective strength, which began its festival run in autumn 2025 at the Barcelona Queer Film Festival.

After completing his showrunner training in 2024, he spent the past year as an intern at Filmax, working as a script analyst on feature films in production.

He currently combines his work as assistant director and acting coach on Jordi Mendive’s debut feature El Caso Vitruvio with writing his new series Quasi Benidorm, selected for Serielizados Kick 2025.

At Faberllull, he will work on writing the script for the series Quasi Benidorm.
