Bio

Núria Torres Cassany holds a degree in Directing and Playwriting from the Institut del Teatre (2021) and a degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) (2017).

She created the series project Incels as her final degree project in Directing and Playwriting, supervised by playwright and screenwriter Teresa Vilardell. With this project, she received the GAC (Guionistes Associats de Catalunya) Sales Support Program grant in 2022, where she was mentored by screenwriter and producer Anaïs Schaaff. This mentorship led to a lasting creative collaboration, which resulted in their participation in Serielizados KICK 2025.

As a screenwriter, she was part of the writing team for the sixth season of the television quiz show Atrapa’m Si Pots on TV3 (2023). As a playwright, she won the 11th edition of the Microtheatre Award from Arsènic Espai de Creació and Roca Umbert (2024). She is currently writing and staging her second theatre piece, Territori Alfa, which explores the female conquest of nightlife and leisure spaces. As a journalist, she has primarily worked in local television and is currently employed at the news agency Europa Press.

Project

At Faberllull, she will work on writing the script for the series La mare que em va parir, written toghether with Anaïs Schaaff.
