Bio

Jana Jubert (Vilafranca del Penedès, 1998) holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Pompeu Fabra University, a postgraduate qualification in Film Editing from BSM-UPF, and a Master’s degree in the Construction and Representation of Cultural Identities from the University of Barcelona.

She has directed several short and feature-length films nominated at festivals such as the San Sebastián Film Festival, D’A, and the Málaga Film Festival. She has collaborated with production companies including Mediapro, Goroka, CANADA, Fasten Films, Frame CreativeMedia, Vampire Films, and Alba Sotorra SL. She has also specialized in creative direction and music videos for bands such as La Ludwig Band and Gavina.mp3.

She currently develops fiction, documentary, and entertainment projects for various production companies and is the co-founder and editor of Ventall Revista, a countercultural platform for emerging creators. She also co-hosts the podcast Les Males Decisions with Ràdio Primavera Sound, co-creates and hosts the podcast Com Dir-t’ho, and regularly collaborates on RAC1 programs.

At Faberllull, she will work on the screenplay for her first fiction series, Noies No, co-written with Indigo Carbajal.
