Bio

Bianca Franceza earned a degree in Film and Audiovisual Media at ESCAC, specializing in screenwriting. There, she worked as a screenwriter on multiple short films, including Petit (2017), Tribu (2017), and Els Apatxes (2019). After graduating, she completed the Òpera Prima Master’s program at ESCAC, focused on feature film development, while also undertaking the Mediaset-Showrunners Master’s program in fiction series. As a result of these programs, she wrote two feature films: Un lugar común (2024), winner of the Gaudí Award for Best New Director, and El Encanto, a fantasy comedy selected for Mediapro Labs’ development program.

Since 2022, she has worked as a script analyst, assessing the artistic quality and commercial appeal of screenplays. She has also taught practical screenwriting courses at ESCAC (2022–2024) and Barcelona Cinema School (2024–2025), while developing original projects with various co-authors and production companies such as Sideral Cinema and Trezeconz Films.

Project

At Faberllull, she will work on writing the script for the series Usucampió, written together with Daniel Belenguer.
