Bio

Daniel Belenguer earned a degree in Film and Audiovisual Media at ESCAC, specializing in screenwriting with a scholarship from the SGAE Foundation. After graduating, he wrote and directed the short film Judoka (2019), which was selected at festivals such as SEMINCI and In The Palace. During his early professional years, he worked as a script assistant on the second season of the TV3 series Benvinguts a la família (2018), produced by ARCA Audiovisual. After working as a screenwriter and narrative designer for the video game company Digital Sun, he began a PhD in Film Studies at Pompeu Fabra University.

He currently works as a screenwriting and film theory lecturer at ESCAC and as a screenwriter on short films such as Lion Dreams (2024), as well as several feature-length fiction films in development for Showrunner Films, Contrària Media, and Playtime Movies.

At Faberllull, she will work on writing the script for the series Usucampió, written together with Bianca Franceza.
