Bio
Born in Barcelona in 2001, Miquel Gusi began his studies with Albert Andreu and Carmen Amat, continuing at the Liceu Conservatory with Olga Kobékina, Stanislav Pochekin and Enrique Bagaría on a “Young Talents” scholarship from the Ferrer-Salat Foundation. He has also studied with Marc Heredia and Luis Fernando Pérez and participated in masterclasses with teachers such as Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Eldar Nebolsin and Jacques Rouvier.
Since his debut at the age of 14, he has given recitals in Spain and Europe and performed at international festivals. Miquel has received several awards in national and international piano and chamber-music competitions, and in 2022 debuted as a soloist with the Sant Cugat Symphony Orchestra, performing Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1. At the same time, he has expanded his training in violin, choral and orchestral conducting, as well as in other styles such as modern and jazz.
